FACILITIES

INFRASTRUCTURE IN PCB
  • Training

    • There are two class rooms each having a capacity of 40 trainees. In addition, there are 4 computer labs which are fully equipped with 44 computers. All the computer labs are completely networked.
  • Systems Development

    •  All the Systems Analysts and Programmers are provided with Pentium IV computers which are linked to a main server.
 MANPOWER STRENGTH OF PCB
The total sanctioned strength of PCB is 129 people (121 being filled) out of which there are 76 technical staff members and the rest 53 are non-technical.

TRAINING COURSES CONDUCTED BY PCB
PCB has been conducting training courses for senior management, IT professionals, special groups and end-users in the government sector. Apart from the computer orientation courses, the training included hardcore programming courses like COBOL, PASCAL, BASIC, Windows, Unix etc. in the past. Recently, the courses being conducted at Bureau included mostly the Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office and internet V.B, Unix Operating System, Computer Hardware, SQL Server, HTML and Java Script.
