| Project Concept: | Scope of the project will consist of (i) Providing training to 4,000 End User's and 200 Systems Administrators on Open Source of Softwares (ii) To prepare training material for Open Source Software in simplistic form for End User's & Administrators. |

| Execution Methodology: | The activities relating to the preparation of the training material as well as the provision of training will be outsourced through proper RFPs. The material developed will serve as course content for the proposed end user training and system administration training. The training material will be the property of Government of Pakistan. 4,000 end users and 200 systems administrator will be trained through the outsourcing model. 50% participants will be from Government Sector and rest 50% from Private Sector. The training programme will be arranged at the Provincial Headquarters and at Muzaffarabad (AKJ). The duration of the course will be approximately 5 weeks. Candidates having at least matric level education will be eligible for the training of end users while for the systems administrators training the candidates having B.A/B.Sc degrees and experience in IT will be entertained. Private candidates will contribute a portion (equal 10%) of the fee for the training. |
